(1988. Santiago, Chile) I didn't always make photographs. Since the early 2000s and for at least a decade i was involved and committed to the music scene in Chile; both through local and international bands, magazines, labels, concerts and other initiatives that ultimately served as a prelude to the study of the field of visuality, which since he was a child called my attention.
In 2012 decided to study photography at the Escuela de Foto Arte de Chile, where acquired the basic technical skills to enter this new visual scenario. In 2013 i moved to the Escuela de Imagen y Comunicación ALPES with a more discursive purpose regarding my relationship with image making, including working as a production assistant on several projects of the Chilean photographer Zaida González.
2016 was a decisive year with the completion of my academic stage and the realisation of my own proposals that resulted in the publication of 'Medea' (2017). Prior to its materialisation, this project was a finalist in the 2nd National Photobook Competition organised by the Centro de Estudio de la Imagen Fotográfica Coquimbo FOCCO (2016), and was later financed through the artistic creation fund of the then Consejo Nacional de la Cultura y las Artes de Chile (2016).
The photobook 'Medea ' was presented at the FLACH gallery (2017) and also participated in instances such as the Contemporary Art Fair CH.aco '17 in Santiago; in parallel to its distribution in different spaces in Germany, Netherlands, France, Mexico, Uruguay, Spain and Venezuela.
During the same year, and after participating in the workshop-meeting with the photographer Roger Ballen at the cultural centre M100 (2017), i presented the exhibition 'Medea' at the gallery BECH (2017) and months later at the art gallery el Zaguán (2018).
In 2018, and shortly before settling permanently in Berlin, founded in Santiago the independent and self-managed publishing house 'Sin_título' (2018). Which purpose is to support emerging artists projects in the development of their editorial proposals; participating in the creation of the publications "Kay Nou" (2018) by Fernanda Soto Mastrantonio and "Mis Problemas no son Tuyos" (2019) by Anna Pistacchio.
During the following year, and as a consequence of the "social revolt" that took place in Chile on 18th October, i launched the political street propaganda activity 'Chile is Calling' (2019) in Berlin. The collective effort of which resulted in around 200 images spread around the city during October and November 2019.
In December 2022 my second author's book entitled 'Vitamin D' (2022) is released, and presented as an exhibition at Lola Fritz Foto Studio (Mallorca) between December '23 and February '24.
